THIS CERTIFICATE assures the repairs to which you and "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." have agreed upon have been completed.  We guarantee the work performed at "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." as long as said vehicle shall remain under the present ownership.  (The Warranty is not transferable.)  This Warranty shall only apply if the defects occurred under normal driving conditions and not where any vehicle has been subjected to accidents, negligence, abuse, misuse or defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which this vehicle may be exposed.  This is a fragmented, five part Written Warranty, and specific additional stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are stated hereafter.

1. METALWORK: "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." provides a Lifetime Written Warranty against defective workmanship to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting, or deterioration.

2. PAINTING: "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." and DuPont Automotive Finishes provides a Lifetime Written Warranty on painting-related systems.  This Paint Warranty is backed by DuPont and this DuPont Qualified Body Shop.

I. TERMS OF THE PAINT WARRANTY

1. Subject to the terms and conditions of the paint system Warranty, the DuPont Qualified Body Shop agrees to warrant against the covered Defects set forth below.  The DuPont paint system Warranty becomes effective on the date the work was completed and for as long as this vehicle shall remain under the present ownership.
2. If the defect is determined to be a Covered Defect, the defect will be repaired without charge to the Warranty holder by this DuPont Qualified Body Shop.
3. The Warranty holder must follow the claim procedures set forth below in order to be covered by this Warranty for any and all defect claims.
   

II. SCOPE OF THE PAINT WARRANTY

1. The DuPont Paint System Warranty shall apply only to the surfaces directly repaired with DuPont Paint Systems.
2. The DuPont Paint System Warranty shall only be available to the individual who was the owner of the vehicle at the time the original work was performed and whose name appears on the Warranty Repair Record.
   (The Warranty is not transferable.)
   

III. COVERED PAINT DEFECTS AND EXCLUSIONS

Covered defects shall include only the following list of defects:

1. Cracking or Checking.
2. Severe loss of gloss caused by cracking or fading.
3. Peeling of the topcoat or any of the layers of film included in the refinishing process.

Defect resulting from the following conditions are excluded from the Warranty:

1. Previously repainted or repaired OEM finishes (prior to this Repair Order) unless vehicle was stripped to bare metal.
2. Scratches, abrasions or stone chips caused by normal vehicle use.
3. Damage caused by accidents.
4. Damage to the paint caused by improper abrasive detergents or waxes,
   acid rain, industrial emissions, fallout or heavy-duty pressure washing.
5. Damages on vehicles used for commercial or competitive purposes.
6. Failures resulting from product misuse or abuse.
7. Failures of systems containing non-DuPont, or non-DuPont-approved products.
8. Failures of systems applied by Refinish Technicians who are not
   "DuPont Qualified."
9. Failures of finishes/systems which have been applied above or below recommended film builds.

IV. DEFINITION

DuPont Warranty Repair Record shall mean the "Repair Order" a copy of which is given to the vehicle owner by the DuPont Qualified Body Shop upon completion of this repair.

3. STRIPES AND DECALS: "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." provides a one year Written Warranty on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals.

4. MECHANICAL REPAIRS: "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." provides a one year Written Warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension alignment, air conditioning or other electrical assemblies or components.

5. PARTS: "Hammer's Autoworks, Inc." guarantees that parts or materials used are of the first quality.  Those parts or material are subject to the guarantee of the supplier.  We will assist you in handling any claim under the supplier's guarantee.  We guarantee that used parts or other than original equipment manufactured parts were not used without authorization from you as noted on the Repair Order.

This WRITTEN WARRANTY shall only apply to those areas and or components of this vehicle which were repaired or replaced as shown on the Repair Order listed on the back of this WRITTEN WARRANTY.

This WRITTEN WARRANTY does not exceed or replace warranties also provided by the parts, material or sublet labor suppliers.  Those items are subject to the warranty's of those suppliers.

IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM the Warranty holder must submit this Warranty, Repair Order, and the vehicle for inspection at the Shop where the vehicle was originally repaired.  An inspection will be provided free of charge by the Shop and other representatives from Warranting entities.  After inspection and verification of a Covered Defect the Shop will, at its sole option, re-repair,
re-paint, or replace the Covered Defect free of charge to the Warranty holder.

SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED from this WRITTEN WARRANTY is rust coming through the metal or system failures due to preexisting rust or rust originating from within the auto body.  This includes blemishes or blistering caused by the rust.  Also SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED are incidental costs, such as, but not limited to, towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this WRITTEN WARRANTY, nor are consequential damages to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair included in this WRITTEN WARRANTY.

This WRITTEN WARRANTY shall not be varied, supplemented, qualified or interpreted by any prior course of dealings.
